Isle of Man Indaba Returns to South Africa in March 2025

Following a landmark year of major elections in 2024, global markets have experienced heightened volatility and investor uncertainty. The International Monetary Fund (IMF), among other reputable sources, has reported increased fluctuations in capital flows and asset prices, driven in part by geopolitical shifts and policy uncertainties.

Elections, in key regions including in the United States and the European Parliament, have  further intensified unpredictability into an international economy already grappling with geopolitical tensions and inflationary pressures. In response to the growing demand for stable, well-regulated jurisdictions, the Isle of Man Indaba will return to South Africa in March 2025 for its sixth edition under the theme “Global Business, Local Stability: The Isle of Man’s role in mitigating risk in a complex world.”

Organised as a roadshow across six major cities – Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Stellenbosch, and George – the event will feature eight leading Isle of Man companies from the finance, legal, investment, and government sectors. Industry experts will share insights into how the Isle of Man’s robust regulatory frameworks, unique status as the only whole nation UNESCO Biosphere status, and newly launched two-year roadmap for sustainable finance can help businesses and individuals safeguard their wealth, expand internationally, and navigate post-election uncertainties.
