Established in Australia 30 years ago, Kip McGrath has more than 680 branches worldwide today, 65 of which are in South Africa. The education centres offer maths, English reading, comprehension and spelling lessons. Courses include School Readiness, Study Skills, Essay Writing and English as a Second Language. Students are evaluated and a programme is developed to suit their individual needs using computers, written work, one-on-one sessions with a tutor and CDs for homework. The mathematics and language material is also available in Afrikaans.
